As a fashion blogger you can imagine I am a bit excited to buy my little girl’s first outfits.  However, even for me, purchasing her first outfits is a little overwhelming because there are so many options! Do I need this? Should I get this? Well, this is cute but will she grow out of it too soon? Luckily, Amazon has come to the rescue! I registered through Amazon Baby’s Registry for some of her first outfits and it made the shopping process so much easier for me! It’s organized and helped me make the right purchases on things I’ll actually really need/want.  Amazon even has a Registry Check List so you are sure not to miss anything! That was one of my favorite features, because #pregnancybrain!

I hear through the grapevine that onesies (or rompers) are the easiest to put on a newborn.  So rompers were the first clothing items to be added to my registry.  I love this Splendid Light Pink Romper .  It’s t-shirt fabric which makes it super soft and looks like a lot of my Splendid tees! Perhaps a mommy and me day will happen when I put this on on her?! I also love this pink striped velour romper.  It looks so cozy and warm — perfect for a chilly day. My soon to be princess will of course ‘need’ a princess dress! So when I came across this darling little pink dress with tulle and matching bib and burp cloth I knew I wanted to register for it! The set is just too cute!

I know I’ll want to keep her feet warm and toasty when we are out and about, but I don’t think shoes are really necessary just yet.  So, I found these adorable socks that mimic the look of socks and shoes and will do the job! I also wanted to get something pretty for her little head.  There are so many baby headbands on the market, but I love this one because of its feminine pink flowers and it looks a bit different than just your ordinary bow headband.  It looks like it’s fit for a princess! Thanks to Amazon’s selection and convenience, her closet will be fit for a princess in no time!

I cannot wait for her arrival to dress her in all this cuteness! If you are a mommy to be, make sure to check out Amazon’s Baby Registry.  On top of the adorable clothes, you can register for all things from diapers to cribs! Best of all you can get your gifts in 2 days, thanks to Amazon’s free 2-day shipping!

I was asked to participate in the #BundleOfBenefits campaign, sponsored by Amazon Baby Registry. All opinions are my own.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Amazon. The opinions and text are all mine.

« Baby Shower: What I Wore
Welcome to the world, Madeline! »

I was born a fashionista… you would think I was wearing a hot pink tulle skirt and a cropped lace blouse, size: newborn. That’s how far back my passion for all things fashion goes — for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl the creative fashionista fire in me has burned bright, and as I sit here today I have that same spark sizzling on and on….

I think of my style as romantic and feminine — but also creative and accessible. I like to be bold and creative with my outfit choices, styling pieces that one may not think would work with another piece. I believe that confidence comes not only from within, but also how you present yourself on a daily basis. When you walk out the house wearing a cute outfit that you feel good in, you are bound to smile! I hope to give you the confidence to put on that pleated skirt that’s been sitting in the back of your closet and feel like a million bucks prancing around in it!

I hope to instill that same confidence in my precious little princess, Madeline. Taking after her mommy, she already loves playing dress up – and you better believe that she always has a smile on her face!

I have had the pleasure of working with brands such as: Amazon, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Christian Louboutin, Henri Bendel, Rent the Runway, and REVOLVE Clothing to name just a few. I have been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business, InStyle, and on WGN-TV.

If I give you just one idea for styling an outfit that makes you feel like a million bucks, then I will consider my work a success.
