Best Stroller: Birth Through Toddler

Family

20 Sep

We have gone through our fair share of strollers… call us ‘stroller snobs’! Madeline grew out of the stroller we had when she was a baby.  It was beautiful but once she reached 25lbs. we needed a new one! Since her baby stroller was a bit bulkier I wanted a lighter weight stroller so we got a travel stroller.  Little did I know it wasn’t the best idea for an every day stroller because it was really difficult to navigate the city streets and get over the bumps and uneven sidewalks of Chicago.

Now that Madeline is walking (and running) A LOT… she gets tired when we’re out and about and mommy can only hold her so long! Can you relate?!

After searching the Web for the most durable stroller I came across the Bugaboo Fox 2.

I was immediately drawn to its’ big wheels, making it easy breezy to go over uneven sidewalks.  It also has power steering. It is made to grow with your child — birth through toddler years.  There is a bassinet for babies and an upright seat for toddlers. Honestly, I wish I got this stroller when Madeline was a baby because I wouldn’t have had to get another one!

On top of it being super easy to ‘drive’, Madeline loves the smooth ride and that it can forward face or face me! She loves… to face her mommy — and I’m not complaining! From time-to-time I turn the seat around so she can see the scenery.  We got the pink seat liner, because it’s Madeline’s favorite color but it also comes in about every color you can imagine!

If you are on the hunt for a stroller for a new born or a toddler I’d highly recommend this one!

I was born a fashionista… you would think I was wearing a hot pink tulle skirt and a cropped lace blouse, size: newborn. That’s how far back my passion for all things fashion goes — for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl the creative fashionista fire in me has burned bright, and as I sit here today I have that same spark sizzling on and on….

I think of my style as romantic and feminine — but also creative and accessible. I like to be bold and creative with my outfit choices, styling pieces that one may not think would work with another piece. I believe that confidence comes not only from within, but also how you present yourself on a daily basis. When you walk out the house wearing a cute outfit that you feel good in, you are bound to smile! I hope to give you the confidence to put on that pleated skirt that’s been sitting in the back of your closet and feel like a million bucks prancing around in it!

I hope to instill that same confidence in my precious little princess, Madeline. Taking after her mommy, she already loves playing dress up – and you better believe that she always has a smile on her face!

I have had the pleasure of working with brands such as: Amazon, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Christian Louboutin, Henri Bendel, Rent the Runway, and REVOLVE Clothing to name just a few. I have been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business, InStyle, and on WGN-TV.

If I give you just one idea for styling an outfit that makes you feel like a million bucks, then I will consider my work a success.
