Everyday Fall Makeup Routine

Beauty

17 Oct
Nordstrom BeautyI’m excited to share my everyday fall makeup routine with you today!

I’m going to share my step-by-step routine that is super quick and easy! It literally takes me 10 minutes or less! Let’s be real, this momma doesn’t have much more than that! Thanks to Nordstrom for being my one-stop destination for all things beauty!

To prep and hydrate my skin I moisturize with Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream. Yes, it’s pricey — but it’s the only moisturizer that my extra sensitive skin doesn’t react to while also leaving my skin glowing! It’s also a really nice makeup base. I always start my everyday makeup with my eyes, and as of recent I have been loving the YSL Dress Me Wild Holiday Eye Shadow Palette.  The warm shadows are so pretty and perfect for a fall eye look.  I have been mixing the two lighter cream shades on my eyelid — they are both a bit glittery and brighten up my eyes. Then I use terracotta shade in my crease.  I just love the dimension that it brings to my eyes! Lastly, I highlight my eyebrow with a cream shadow.

Moving on to my lashes… the one question I am asked daily is, ‘are those your real lashes??’ I’m flattered. Yes, they are! I can thank my Dad… and Dior mascara! I use Dior’s maximizer (which is a primer) before using the blackest mascara I have ever seen — it’s incredible!

Call me crazy, but I don’t use a traditional foundation nor have I ever! For as long as I can remember I have used Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation (in the color NC25). I’m quite fair, but this shade gives my skin some life! I then use Mac Girlie eyeshadow for my blush! I know it may seem a bit strange to use an eyeshadow for blush, but it’s the most perfect blush shade! To complete the look I wear a bright lip and I’m loving this color.

There you have it! My everyday fall makeup routine in under 10 minutes! If you want to see the full tutorial, feel free to check out my IG stories highlighted ‘Makeup Routine’.

Thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.

Holiday Outfits To Make You Sparkle »

I was born a fashionista… you would think I was wearing a hot pink tulle skirt and a cropped lace blouse, size: newborn. That’s how far back my passion for all things fashion goes — for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl the creative fashionista fire in me has burned bright, and as I sit here today I have that same spark sizzling on and on….

I think of my style as romantic and feminine — but also creative and accessible. I like to be bold and creative with my outfit choices, styling pieces that one may not think would work with another piece. I believe that confidence comes not only from within, but also how you present yourself on a daily basis. When you walk out the house wearing a cute outfit that you feel good in, you are bound to smile! I hope to give you the confidence to put on that pleated skirt that’s been sitting in the back of your closet and feel like a million bucks prancing around in it!

I hope to instill that same confidence in my precious little princess, Madeline. Taking after her mommy, she already loves playing dress up – and you better believe that she always has a smile on her face!

I have had the pleasure of working with brands such as: Amazon, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Christian Louboutin, Henri Bendel, Rent the Runway, and REVOLVE Clothing to name just a few. I have been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business, InStyle, and on WGN-TV.

If I give you just one idea for styling an outfit that makes you feel like a million bucks, then I will consider my work a success.
